With an intense passion for Pilates and Fitness, Nikki brings an array of strengths to the Complete Pilates team. She took her first reformer Pilates class 8 years ago and was immediately hooked. With a background in competitive running, yoga and plyometric training, she finds Pilates to be the perfect balance between strength, balance and flexibility.
Nikki completed her degree with a BA in marketing and communications. She worked as a fashion developer for several companies such as Pac Sun, Charlotte Russe, and Quiksilver Inc. After years of personal practice and training, she decided to turn her passion into her career. She completed her 500 hour mat and apparatus Pilates certification through the Pilates Method Alliance (PMA). In the pursuit to expand her own practice and gain more experience as a teacher, Nikki began taking classes at Complete Pilates. She was immediately impressed by Armone’s rigorous approach to the classical Pilates traditions and inspired by the challenge that each class has to offer. She is excited to be a part of a studio and a community that share her enthusiasm and commitment to overall health and fitness. |

Holly Walker Pilates Instructor Holly has had a life long interest in the pursuit for health and wellness. In 2001 she received her National Board Certification of Massage Therapy. Holly was featured in the issue of Top Spas edition of SAN DIEGO Magazine for her work in 2003 at a Spa in LaJolla, The Lodge at Torrey Pines. Having some issues with her own back led her into Therapeutic work and while Massage helped it was not the complete solution to her back issues. Working with physical therapists for her spinal issue, Holly noticed right away the focus was targeted towards core strengthening. After reading about benefits of Pilates Holly enrolled in a local Pilates Mat class to try it out. From there the benefits were instant in just a few weeks she felt improvement in her back issues and felt an instant change in her body, she was hooked. This started the beginning of her Pilate’s career. Holly was certified in mat in 2004 and began teaching a mat class at her local gym. Her teaching became well known and the class quickly grew to upwards of 50 students per class. Inspired by the changes in her clients and motivated by positive feedback she continued on in 2007 to become certified on all Pilates Apparatus at Balanced Body University with over 500 hours of Comprehensive Pilates training. She continues her education taking seminars through IDEA and Pilates on Tour and others throughout the US. She is committed to helping her clients’ maximize their potential, and she pays close to attention to their individual health and fitness goals. “I know what to look for in form and technique as well as an emphasis on good body mechanics.” My workouts are a culmination of my background in therapeutic work and the core principals of Pilates.” Holly is so excited about being at Complete Pilates where she teaches group mat and reformer classes as well as private sessions. “There is nothing like feeling strong and challenging your body beyond what you believe capable, and Pilates gives you that.” “If you are looking for a great workout that really challenges you and gives you visible results as well as bringing a natural body awareness then you have found the right place.” |
